CyberBuddy – Outing

The term ‘outing’ refers to a form of cyberbullying through which, the cyberbully, after having ‘saved’ (data recording) the spontaneous confidences (outing) of a peer (SMS, Chat, etc.), or confidential and intimate images, decides at a later stage to disseminate them to other users.

The objectives of this Course are:

  • to support students in identifying fraudulent behaviour and dealing with possible cases of cyberbullying;
  • to make students reflect on their personal responsibility, as actors and as spectators, when faced with such situations, linking to the themes of respect and inclusion.
  • help students develop empathy towards those who suffer acts of cyberbullying.

Let’s learn about Outing.
